In it, he describes his itinerary, modes of travel (Canadian Pacific Railway, Princess Elizabeth, river steamboats, Bob Shelton's stage line on the Valdez Trail, and the Canadian National Railways) and places which he visited (Vancouver, Skagway, Whitehorse, Dawson, Circle City, Tanana, Fairbanks, Copper City, Cordova, Juneau, Seward, and Prince Rupert).
